As the founding principal of Donagh McGowan & Co. Solicitors, a boutique practice that he founded in 2014 , his aim is provide a high level service to private clients, to the quality offered by larger law firms to their business and corporate clients – but at a more competitive fee basis.
With a focus on private client legal services – and specialising in Family Law in Ireland, Donagh’s practice includes advising on all family law matters with a particular emphasis on judicial separation and divorce.
As a former Chair of the Law Society of Ireland Family Law Committee, Donagh has also tutored in the Law Society of Ireland and has spoken on many occasions at family law conferences, including the annual conferences of the Law Society of Ireland and the Legal Aid Board.
Donagh is a trained mediator and a trained professional in Collaborative Law.
With almost 30 years’ experience as a solicitor – latterly as a Partner and Head of the Private Client Department (incorporating the Family Law Department) of Mason Hayes & Curran- Donagh’s career has focused on providing services to private clients, most particularly in the areas of family law, wills & probate, trusts and residential property.
Donagh is a regular media contributor on family law and other issues, and can be available for commentary and speaker slots on topics and issues relating to Family Law in Ireland.

FAMILY & INTERESTS
Donagh is married with one step-daughter, and two sons and lives in Ranelagh Dublin 6. He enjoys Gaelic sports and is actively involved with the GAA.
